though the first half of this shift was supposed to be dedicated to polarized deuterium, it was noticed around 20:00 that V11 was closed. after a call to genya, it was determined that the previous four hours or so were unpolarized deuterium.
regardless, at 21:00, the target was emptied and the R.F. unit turned off. empty target data was then taken the rest of the shift.

oh yeah, at sam's advice, i left a few runs crunching that were stuck at 98% done. i'm pretty sure they are no longer crunching regardless of what the autocruncher says. maybe they should be stopped and recrunched???
