Good reference. a little more just to confuse everybody. :)
a nifty trick I learned from Taylan:
prompt> ../SOURCE/configure --prefix=`pwd`
use `back quote`, the left most key on the top row, on the left of "1",
below "ESC", above "TAB" on many keyboards. :)
a note on --enable-debug. there once was a time when DGen will not
interface with blastmc properly without this debug flag. It has been
fixed.
compile without debug results in smaller and faster binaries.
compile with debug enables GDB, GPROF for debugging and run time
profiling.
