Hello,
I would like to summarize the problems we have encountered this weekend
so far:
_ on friday the new computers buds were tested, found their performance
to be much less than expected, which was traced to nfs problems. Since
then only one data disk is nfs mounted but full cpu speed is available
_ saturday morning it was reported that Rtof-3 coincs were missing. Traced
to bad tdc channel and fixed coda data.
_ sunday morning it was further reported that R-cerenkov TDC's were missing.
Data from that period still has valid R-cerenkov ADC's. Also some R-sector
tof scalers were missing, but all CODA tof information was ok.
_ Thanks to taylan who found these problems, they were probably inadvertently
introduced on saturday. Unfortunately I could come in only for a short
time saturday afternoon and could not wait for beam to do further tests
_ If some detector is not counting you need to notify the week coordinator.
In this case me.
_ We do seem to have an intermittent trigger problem, where deadtime and phys3,
phys4 rates seem to be going up sharply. This could be see come and go from the
counting bay. Redownloading the trigger fixes it. Please be aware.
_ The Rcer0 delay chip failed sunday morning.
_ The L,R cer #3 (at backward angles, behind the bats) have both ADC,TDC
data (see raw_cc_a(t)dc.C) although. Their low rate may be consistent
with the low BATS trigger rate (note: the elastic rate there is few/hr)
_ then of course at 19.25 sunday there was a small power glitch.
