Shift began with Genya continuing ion polarimeter studies for a very short
while.
Plan was to take polarized deuterium data cycling through spin states
|1>|6>, |2>|5> and |3>|4>.
Took data most of the the shift
BQMs were tripping quite a lot and we continually reset them until CCR
eventually had good beam with rates T = 250, B = 115, L = 222, R = 136
(these reading are from 78mA).
Minor Note: BQM HV GUI screen shows same MV and DV for left and right
(i.e. both say "Right")
CC R1-2 Bot tripped several times and we tried to set the DV with from
-2152V to -2052V (and SAVE prior to hitting OPER / ON) but the GUI would
not allow the change. This channel actually stopped tripping without
reason.
Minor Note: CC Right HV GUI SET screen is actually labeled as left
Had to reboot compton IOC several times.
Note: Elog seems to misalign data with respect to proper fields since run
"21143" from Thur 6/26.
We had periodic minor (yellow) alarms (NOT HV trips) from the WC's
throughout the shift (T2 and T5).
0515 WC temperature alarms went from yellow to red and
became quite frequent. Signal to noise had also deteriorated. Decided
to power down WC's for 1 hour. (Should have called Doug at this point?)
0645 coming back online CCR moved in the slits killing the beam and
tripping our HV crates. After some work, BQM rates were up by a factor of
2-3 so we asked that they retune/steer to get them back down so as not to
take crap data. (WC's were OFF this whole time)
0730 HV taken out of auto-ring fill mode, CCR has said that they had to
steer every time they injected this shift, so they now are trying to fully
rectify this. (WC's were OFF this whole time)
Bill is here - and suggests we call Doug regarding the WC alarm.
