The main effort of this shift was gain matching the TOFs with a target
channel of 1500+pedestal. The aim was to match the Landau Fit MPV, i.e.
not the mean, to this target channel.
For all runs the trigger was: "cosmicTOF.settings"
which has TOF/CC coincs and all channels set to 31mV.
For all runs the analysis code was: "plot_adc_ntp.C"
which is in /home/blast/blast/commis/phase1/
The code was modified such that it now fills histograms from ntuple
entries. This allows custom binning.
Starting voltage was from +5% hvDaemon
RUN 2291: Verify pedestal values.
RUN 2293: First run on LTOP 0-3
RUNS 2294-2297 iterative voltage adjustments
********************************************************************
RUN 2298 -> LTOPTOFS appear to be gain matched to within +/- 100ch of
target channel of 1500+pedestal!
********************************************************************
RUNS 2399-2300 Began working on Left Bottom TOFS but noticed that some
channels (e.g. LBOT4 and LBOT10) were still yielding low MPV values even
with voltages near -2300V)
*************************************************************************
RUN 2301: 11 of 16 LTOFBOT tubes are gain matched to within +/- 100 ch of
1500+pedestal. Finishing this section should be the next order of
business.
************************************************************************
Note: for the installation of the mu metal, the current suggestion is to
use cable ties to secure a layer of mu metal around the PVC tube housing.
The shield should extend as far past the PMT/lightguide interface (i.e.
towards the scintillator) as possible so as to properly shield the tube
from the field.
***All HV was set to ZERO at 0000hrs and CCR was notified that they could
conduct tuning operations****
