i wrote a universal setup script, "setup.csh" in the top level cvs
directory, that tests whether you are or off campus, and sets up the
environment variables and paths for the blast software. this may be
helpful to people trying to get started using the software, having a
common starting point. please give me feedback if this works on your
machines, or add switches for your specific environments.
the problem with getting geant to work in batch mode is that the
ON_CAMPUS flag uses the older '98 version of cernlib. the other problem
is that the 'pro cernlib is missing libgeant321.a. the solution is to
use both libaries.
i changed the Makefile so that it ignores the ON_CAMPUS flag (. source
setup.csh before you compile, and batch mode will work both at bates and
on the lns.
