Attending KD, BT, BF, RF, MK, JC, MF, CC (speakerphone)
-Collaboration meeting should be on Friday, 1/6/2006. Preceding analysis
review meeting on Thursday 1/5/2006.
-Recrunch: lrn 11250-4935 ongoing, ~1900 runs in 9 days. Crunching in
9300's now, backwards. Uses Wire.Cal that has been bugfixed for a few
(~5) wire positions that were off by 2-7 mm in the left sector at forward
angles (introduced in September 2004).
Using new Blast field map, Garfield-t2d and k-factors. Also available
would be t2d from CZ, and soon from CC.
When 4935-11250 is done (in one week or so), I will resume lrn for 2004
hydrogen.
CC:
-Working on t2d with field on. On wire chamber geometry offsets: Once t2d
is updated, it should be possible to estimate global geometrical Wch
offsets (there's already an estimate in CC's talk in meeting_050830 of
about 1mm).
At the same time, straight track analysis should yield a calibration
wire-by-wire which can be compared with CC's estimate.
On straight tracks: Besides the dedicated zero-field runs (which
have a very high multiplicity per event) there are also cosmics runs with
field on and/or off, and there are cosmics events (~1000/500k run) in the
real data runs. CC's method to identify cosmics tracks should serve as an
input to Doug's straight track analysis. Due to 2nd level trigger cosmics
events in the production data will not fill up all the wire chamber
completely though. Once Wire.Cal has been obtained, a complete lrn
recrunch is desired in order to pick up stubs that were lost with the
present calib. Nevertheless, a quick lrd-recrunch should already show the
improvement.
RF:
-Working on understanding the earlier reported TOF inefficiency. ADC
analysis for single phototubes with cuts for elastic kinematics imposed.
EG:
-Working on GEn extraction as function of theta_cm and of theta_d^*.
Also working on before/after checks for the recrunched hydrogen runs in
terms of resolution and offsets.
NM:
-New MC available for inclusive scattering with improved statistics, and
which accounts for elastic constribution. Will extract GMn next.
Regards,
Michael
