Hi,

due to the (admittedly confusing) variety of recrunch versions which
comprise only fractions of the total run list, it appears necessary to
have a new environment variable for a directory in which links to the most
recent recrunch version of ANY run are collected.

For this purpose, I announced this variable with the name RECRUNCHDIR
already in my email from Fri Mar 04, 2005, however have never established
it until now:

For the infinite future we will have three environment variables:
DATADIR=/net/data/5/Daq/data from which all raw data runs are accessed,
ANALDIR=/net/data/9/Analysis/data which is the standard directory of the
        crunch results. It is to contain links to the most recent
        lrn-recrunch or to the online-crunch version otherwise.
RECRUNCHDIR=/net/data/9/Analysis/recrunch which contains the individual
        links to the most recent lrd- or lrn-recrunch result
        (dst,lr,flr,ep_skim,charge) for any given run.

So, the default path for reading ntuples or dst's should be RECRUNCHDIR,
ANALDIR should be used if one trusts only latest lrn-results.
The online-crunch version remains accessible in ANALDIR/online_crunch.

Everybody should include the following line into the personal login init
file (.login.linux, .tcshrc, .bashrc, .profile, whichever)

setenv RECRUNCHDIR /net/data/9/Analysis/recrunch/ or
export RECRUNCHDIR=/net/data/9/Analysis/recrunch/

I'm sending out another, more detailed email with recrunch
status information on all runs.

As recrunches go on, I will send updates of the recrunch status, which
will also be available as a sticky elog note and as AAA_README in ANALDIR.
