Started shift taking polarizaed deuterium data. Took runs 15368-15374.
As the shift went on, it became evident that the ABS nozzle was clogging.
At about 11:30, there was a change to empty target and a warm-up of the
nozzle was initiated. Nozzle regeneration will be performed during Tuesday day shift.
Online analysis of the data from Sunday evening through present shows
somewhat lower target polarization than we had before SFT problem developed.
This also needs to be investigated.
Beam has been unstable during past few hours of shift. Sudden plunges in lifetime have been common, a symptom which usually indicates a ring RF problem.
Continue running empty for tonight unitl further notice. Schedule for Hall opening will be settled in the morning.
