just a word of advice for people using TexPoint for latex equations and 
fonts in their presentations:  make sure to click on the menubar item 
"TexPoint -> Configure", select the tab "Inline Mode", and select then 
checkbox "Embed fonts in the presentation".   otherwise your talk will 
come out with weird characters where you least expect them.
