The maintenance shift is complete. Snakes have been filled. A problem
was discovered with the Ring RF cavity. It was originally feared that the
cavity's tuning plunger had broken, but the problem proved to be less
severe than originally thought and beam is back in the Ring.
We will run with an unpolarized hydrogen for about 4 hours. During the
evening shift the plan is to switch back to polarized deuterium.
