[BLAST_ANAWARE] running lrd on MC -> seg faults

Has anyone run lrd on monte carlo? I want to do this for gpn to
force the PID to be a proton. When I do this I get:

TBLDst: Openning file /scratch/bud04/anal_photodis/dst-0.root
TBLDst::Open : Read Only file does not contain DstHeader

*** Break *** segmentation violation

any idea what is going on? Does this DstHeader
exist in the real data dst but not the MC dst? - and why is it listed as a
read only file?
