during this shift (during run 10572, in fact), a WC guard wire broke in R15 (the broken wire was in the most upstream cell, the outer guard wire). being the most upstream cell, it touched over into the adjacent cell, R17. this thus would have resulted in us not being able to get data in the ten most upstream cells in the inner superlayer in the middle chamber.
Doug was called in, and we spent a few hours replacing the bad wire (in the process, a neighboring sense wire was broke, also, and thus had to replaced).
anyway, the boxes are now all holding full voltage. the problem has been fixed. CCR is now bringing everything back up. it'll probably take an hour or so.
as a result of the broken wire(s), not much data was taken this shift.
