seriously, I checked again after reading your email and dug into BlastTalk
a little bit. here is the story.
all comparison are done againt 40cm runs durin March 23-29.
on May 4th, when the 60cm cell is just in, rates increased to 1.5 times
the rate for 40cm.
This is consistant with results Vitaliy showed on May 4th: I take
his counts under "qel && abs(z) < 20": 12.9(60cm) vs. 7.5(60cm)
On May 9th, before SFT died, this ratio was 1.4.
since 15th, after the SFT work, this ratio has been 1.26.
My cuts are: abs((zwl+zwr)/2)<20, -30<zwl<25, -30<zwr<25.
I just checked directly from flrpm, i.e. total counts with left/right,
positive/negative pattern, with cuts:
"pwl>0.1&&pwr>0.1&&pwl<1&&pwr<1&&abs(zwl)<20&&abs(zwr)<20"
charge(C) counts rate (/C)
Mar 23-29: 19415 708408 36.49
May 04: 3985 209780 52.64 = 1.44*36.49
May 09: 5622 274115 48.76 = 1.33*36.49
May 15-20: 17255 780269 45.21 = 1.24*36.49
given that this collection of events contain backgrounds not
increased with the cell, these ratio numbers are slightly lower than I
quoted from ed-elastic events.
In any case we are looking at only 26% higher rate than 40cm cell right
now.
