After meeting with Adrian, I grabbed his TOF monitor code and have quickly
modified it to calculate TDC offsets based on Chris' HZ cosmic coplanarity
numbers and the flasher ch 1000. Here is the problem. We have had broken
fibers in the past at different tofs at different times. These were
repaired but there is of course no flasher data for those runs. Therefore
I do not think it is practical to go back and try to calculate offsets for
these old runs as we will get garbage numbers for any channels missing
flasher data.
I this problem arises in the future, the only work around plan is
to first read in an existing blast.sc_cal, then if the flasher is good,
calc the new offset, if the flasher is bad, use the offset from
blast.sc_cal - which hopefully is better than no offset at all.
Any thoughts on this?
