Re: [BLAST_ANAWARE] Preliminary Cherenkov shielding analysis

Hello, Sorry to inundate all of you with excessive Cerenkov numbers.

Latest results corroborate the initial results. These figures are from the most
recent batch of Deuterium runs... fromt he day shielding was installed to this
very morning. I have updated my cuts to include trigger TYPE 1 Events. This is
solely a coincidence of R/L sector TOFs... Unfortunately error bars in back
angle CC's are still a little large... More data will obviously lower these.
And you can be sure I'll throw more numbers at you when my error bars are
smaller...

**Total Sector efficiencies comprise cuts that require a negative charge hitting
in ANY TOF from 0-10 with e'p Signatures, then taking these same events and
seeing how many events have a hit in a CC on the same side. (#CC
events)/(#electron in events in TOF 0-10) = Total sector efficiency.

Attached are also postscript files of the ADC spectra of the CC's with NO Cuts,
and then with the exact same cuts that produce these efficiencies... One can
notice the much broader ADC spectrum of the Left sector... even though the right
side still records higher efficiencies, now with R1 being our most reliable...
Note: R0 is still missing one PMT. The slight discrepancy in events between the
efficiency numbers below and the total events in the postscript plots is due to
the runs being crunched while I am doing this analysis.

CUTS: e'p reactions...
-----------------------
Must have a complete track, Tight vertex, Missing mass of the neutron,
respective charges in opposite sectors, trigger = 1, middle TOF's behind each CC
must have a hit corresponding to these tracks.

The RUNS I've used
--------------------------
5028-5030 5038-5044 5046-5050 5069-5070 5072-5074 5077-5081 5084-5090 5094-5098
5099-5100 5102-5107 5125-5131 5141-5148 5157-5161 5165-5167 5169-5171 5173-5175
5176-5179 5180 5182-5189 5193-5199 5201-5204

Many of the last row are not fully crunched but thanks to Chi's Magic, the
events processed thus far are able to be included...
