Re: [BLAST_ANAWARE] electronics map archive messed up?

Hi,
~012 is the wrong map to use. It was downloaded

Thu Dec 11 14:11:01 EST 2003 Electronics~012.map

and it carries the added channel for the spin flipper. Run 3691 was taken
a week before that (see /home/blast/blast/pro2003/elog/archive/Electronics/)
The last beam run with ~011 was 3824 the first run with ~012 was 3828 but
it was a cosmic run and so the first run with ~012 and beam was 3841.

I think the problem is the map copy in the archive. Somehow ~11 has gotten
back the empty spaces (instead of tabs) in it that prevent correct reading
of parts of the map (See "[BLAST_ANAWARE] e- map problems and archive,
Dec 1 2003"). I don't see another explanation right now

The difference between ~011 and ~012 is indeed so minimal

< SHadcblabla SH ADC 0 0 0 0-7 2 31 7 56-63
> SHadcblabla SH ADC 0 0 0 0-8 2 31 7 55-63

i wouldn't change the status bits (andrun 3691 and nearby was analyzed
correctly last month, as you can see from the charge files). It should be
easy to proove it.

Infact at that time there a new problem with the download log. Indeed as
the number progressed the archiving counter went 08,09, .. 01, overriding
version the original version~01 (!!) The problem was (by chance) realized
immediately, since it came up while correcting some LADS stuff. I did not
fix elog (since that is always painful). The trick I used was to make a
file ~011 in the same directory. Well, I think the copy of ~11 in the
archive has the empty spaces in it.....

BTW: we should fix ReadEleMap...
