* Status of libBlast/cvs:
_ We have a v3 tag for the montecarlo code and a v2_xx tag for
reconstruction. This montecarlo has the new geometry definitions
from AM and is ready to become an official version.
_ LibBlast is at version 2 to allow for more reconstruction work/test.
Version 3 will reflect the new geometry definitions but it will not
be available before the run
_ Before the run CC will tag a pro version so you should not worry
about version numbers anymore to stay in sync. Look for announcements.
_ SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT: we should aim at more backward compatibility.
and avoid some of the confusion of last year. Please test your code
with MC and data before submitting
* Discussion about the online monitor system.
_ We will have two main consoles (with large screens) and 4 panel mounted
displays just above them. Display are for display only, such as vital epics
info (beam, target, hv) and data "quality". For the latter we could use
nsed+ a cycle of root canvases. For the scalers we should display a summary
(probably also out of root). Doug has a wch quality script. Other scripts can
essentially be "raw_xxx" type of scripts.
_ The two consoles will serve for usual control stuff (coda, scalers,
trigger) as well as elogbook (and of course virtual desktops..)
* Wch status:
_ TL reports progress with his code. Working on improvements that
will likely increase the tracking efficiency (right now 70%).
_ Of course we don't really define efficiency here..
_ Garfield calculations (lorentz angle correction) are currently
filling up the spuds.
* Analysis:
_ CC lazy fitter is "almost" ready. This uses no swimming and
simple fitting algorithm. The current version use the p%theta
relationship for ep elastic but CC is working to change that.
_ To have z,theta,p,.. in your ntuple then you need to crunch
data with lrn.C. Use "root lr.C run#" to load in root via init.C
