Hi C&K,
I've left a ts2_pri_hydrogen.o read-out list on node blast. I've tested
that this code can prescale and use different output bits toggling bits 0
and 1
Right now we need to cable the first 4 bits to test it further. I've left
the first 4 bits enabled, with a prescale factor of 1001 for bit 4.
I've also made a hydrogen.settings trigger file.
With the above the physics trigger definition will be
PHYS0 = H2 elastic coinc (untouched, carefully carved out to avoid
forward-forward unphysical "junk')
PHYS1 = unused
PHYS2 = Is a neutron trigger (both left and sector). Any opposite sector
tof may participate (but no CC required).
PHYS3 = Any single arm event (L,R) prescaled by a factor 1001
PHYS4 = another tof-l & tof_r trigger, practically whatever was left out
from PHYS0. This bit is not enabled in the TS.
The trigger downloads fine. We may want more than 4 trigger types if we
want to split L and R but I really do not see why.
I think the above should serve us well for the rest of commissioning! NC
delays have not been set. There are no triple coincs (but that is a
project per se, given the narrow coinc window we have). I don't know what
would happen if two triggers fire at the same time. I tried to avoid that.
we should also update macros to use the event classification flag that was
already set up working. I am perplexed by the following definitions in TCodaRead.h
#define SYNC_EVENT 2
#define PRESTART_EVENT 3
#define GO_EVENT 4
#define PAUSE_EVENT 5
#define END_EVENT 6
#define EPICS_EVENT 7
#define SCALER_EVENT 8
they should be 12, 13, 14, .. (according to tim 02/02). But fine I see
that the event classification flag works (0-8). so I should go home happy
Tomorrow I'll break a few more things (helicty in tdc, target direction)
Chris B. is making the new TS cable.
I'll be in late (!)
