I assume by "physics triggers", Chris and Jason mean output bits of the
XMLU. Right now, ONLY the least significant bit (PHYS0?) of the XMLU is
cabled to the trigger supervisor input bits. And only the LSB of the TS
is software-enabled. This was done in the interests of simplicity and
clarity.
All of the 16 XMLU output bits ARE cabled to the scalers. So you would
see counts there. But there will be NO events in the CODA data stream
unless XMLU bit 0 is set. So you will get CODA events for XMLU patterns
like 001, 011, 101; you will NOT get CODA events for XMLU patterns like
010, 100.
