Received beam around 8pm. Previous slit values did not give good
lifetimes. Tuned for better lifetime and background rates.
The CCr kept having problems tuning beam, max current received with gas in
the target was around 60mA.
We noticed that the count rates were exceedingly small. Went to D-tunnel
where we discovered that the start counter cables were flaky. Replaced
them with those of LTOF14-15 ( see logbook ). The rate went up to ~2-3Hz
with max current.
Also looked at data from last night. We believe the TOF efficiency for
LTOF0-3 not as high as mentioned with more appropriate cuts.
Will keep running trigger effL_0_3.settings, 2sccm, B off.
