I've left a note in the logbook on a new way to wake a ROC up when it
sleeps. Instead of changing the monitoring point (which means you have
to pay lots of attention), you can ping a ROC and data will flow again
(if that ROC is the one that was sleeping). So the cheesy thing to do
is
ping -i5 blrocf2
ping -i5 blrocf3
(or a more frequent interval than 5 seconds if you're seeing lots of
sleep in the 5 second gaps).
Ugly, but I don't think there will be side effects. It will work until
I can figure out more...
