Hi, everybody!
At the last analysis meeting, I showed plots regarding the TOF efficiency
studies.
We did not know at that time if problems with a few paddles' efficiencies
were due to Cerenkovs being out of time, or to another reason. It was
sure, however that the last 3 left Cerenkovs were denying most of the
events.
Peter and I checked the timing yesterday and we did not find anything out
of whack for the left sector (the only one we were trying to test for TOF
efficiencies).
We found the right Cerenkovs to come too early though (due to different
programmable delays in the trigger GUI - why?!). We fixed that today
(and wrote cosmicWC.settings for the WC group to use as a timing reference
over the weekend).
The TOF CFD thresholds of the initial trigger settings I used were 31 mV -
those might need to be lowered to 20 mV (following Tancredi's suggestions
from two weeks ago) over the weekend.
When we are done with the TOF efficiency studies we will know if we need
to raise voltages at all.
