Following up on the suggestion I made to learn C++ there is a web
based course with recorded lectures by Paul Kunz accessible from
http://www.wlap.org/cern/lectures/tech/c/
Your browser needs to be setup to support RealPlayer but otherwise there is
audio, video, and copies of the transparencies on line.
